I know that Saban had to move on to the next sentai but no explanation was given whatsoever about why the team needed to switch from Zeo powers which they fought so hard to get to fight Zedd, Rita and the Machine Empire, to turbo technology. Nothing. Zeo rangers were really strong.
However, the way Zordon portrayed turbo powers in the movie and season to be more powerful than any ranger power was intense. But Turbo was cool. I preferred it to zeo but I loved the switch from Mighty Morphin to Zeo. it was a breath of fresh air even though the zeo period did seem to fly by pretty fast.
