VR Troopers was an awesome series in the mid-1990s. It came fresh off the heels of Power Rangers and was a fan favourite. It never lasted more than two seasons or two years due to lack of Japanese footage but it did make a big enough impact to keep pop culture relevance. Three young adults fight a mad conqueror in the real world and the world of virtual reality while maintaining their regular civilian lives.
They had metallic armour which shielded them from intense battle hungry mutant robots. Both seasons were awesome but season one has my heart. I loved the warriors and simplicity. Season two was about saying goodbye while going out with a bang. Amazing show though!
