I remember watching Lost Galaxy for the first time and seeing the new red ranger, Leo Corbett. It was entertaining and had a space theme, similar to In Space. Back then, the internet wasn’t as popular as it is now, making it difficult to find information on the cast and characters. I enjoyed it, especially since it would set the stage for a new story with Zordon gone and a new policy for Saban, featuring a new cast each year with little to no real continuity. I wanted to see how things went. I liked Mike, and Kai was a hard-nosed, stuck-up. I didn’t like the ranger names. I thought they were very lame.
The galactabeasts were a funny name, and they were actual beasts, gigantic and clumsy. Power Rangers never did anything like it. It was straight flesh with too many Sentai elements. But I grew to tolerate, not accept them. It was a great season, but it was too bad that I lost the Fox Kids channel in the middle of the second half, so I had to watch RealPlayer clips online through Time Force.
