Dino Thunder was an awesome season.Tommy came back two years after “Forever Red” and the fandom went crazy. I know I did. Then we saw a new villain that was not from outer space like Rita and Zedd and it wasn’t kids playing around anymore. We have four new teens with Tommy being the mentor and a new ranger power again. It was awesome. New zords, new rangers, new tech expert that wasn’t like Billy or Alpha in Hayley. No space stuff, just local, and Tommy was a doctor, seven years after leaving to become a race car driver and two years after soaking it up in the sun.
One thing that set Dino Thunder in a zone I didn’t like and I know the fandom was annoyed with it too and that was Trent always getting the upper hand and and almost outsmarting Tommy. He brought evil to white and the zords could’ve looked better and the megazord as well. I hated the lack of six rangers on the team even though it was adapted that way from the sentai. But it was a good season. I wished the yellow ranger would have given better fights. Emma Lahana was beautiful, even in 2025.
